Artwork Overview:

The child never disappeared. It simply waited for the rules to become unbearable.

At the lower right, a heavy, wide-eyed figure occupies a world that refuses adult order. Its long arms hang with caution, but beside it a smaller green creature appears like a forgotten playmate returning with an invitation. Around them, architecture turns into faces, a dark sun watches overhead, flowers push through fractured spaces, and a crown and heart share the same improvised monument. Across the centre, “HAPPY” is scratched into the paint with imperfect insistence.

In Wild Again, ARVY imagines an adult stepping back into a landscape created by their younger self. Nothing follows practical logic, yet everything feels emotionally exact. A sun can become an eye, a building can remember, and a scribble can open into a road. Childhood is presented not as innocence or nostalgia, but as permission—the freedom to invent before judgement, usefulness and fear close in.

Turquoise, crimson, yellow, magenta and deep green collide in broad, scraped fields. Deliberately naïve drawing, graffiti-like marks and neo-expressionist revisions preserve the excitement of discovery, while layered passages allow earlier decisions to remain visible beneath the surface.

Wild Again speaks to the creative self adulthood teaches us to discipline. Here, freedom begins when play no longer needs an excuse.
