牛木の祖先が継承する伝統を受け継ぐ、伊藤石水の関水窯による佐渡・凡い土の茶碗。汝窯の特徴である柔らかく暖かな色調、回転する渦状のリムが見える成形と、わずかに不均一で手作業的な縁が印象的です。元の木製の友箱（トモ箱）に入っており、作家によって署名・封印が施されています。
【作家プロフィール】
伊藤石水は、新潟県佐渡島・関水窯の陶工の家系で継承されてきた名字で、江戸末期までさかのぼる系譜を持ちます。窯は、佐渡金山の鉄分豊富な“無明灰”粘土から作られる美濃焼で知られ、佐渡のかつての鉱山の固有の赤褐色の焼き色に特徴づけられます。
