ドイツ帝国時代に鋳造されたヴュルテンベルク王国に属する銀貨で、右を向く髭のあるウィリアム2世の頭部が王位の称号とともに銘文で囲まれています。裏面にはドイツ帝国の皇冠を戴く鷲が描かれ、中央の紋章と翼・羽毛の細部まで高い描写が施され、この州連邦の美術品質を反映しています。縁はパール状で、滑らかで均一な銀色の色調と穏やかなパティーナを持ち、肖像と帝国紋章の浮き出しが良く保たれているため、ドイツ帝国のマルクシリーズの中でも代表的で非常に評価の高い一品です。
