ネオクラシックのナイトテーブル／サイドテーブルの一対、象嵌入り – 19世紀

優雅な coordinato の一対、古代のベッドサイドテーブルまたはサイドテーブルとして19世紀に製作されたもので、ルイ16世様式を思わせる洗練されたネオクラシカルな構成を特徴としています。

2点の家具は長方形の構造を採り、上部を細長く絞られた4本の脚が支え、上部には金メッキ金属の繊細な装飾要素で飾られています。脚の先には小さな金属製の足が付いており、全体に細身でエレガントな印象を与えます。

前面には大きな引き出しが配され、木材の薄貼り（イン veneer）とボタン状の渦巻き、リボン、植物模様のスタイリッシュなモチーフが左右対称に装飾されています。引き出しの中央には金属製の装飾ハンドルが付いています。

特に上部の天板は木製で、ブラウン系の赤味を帯びた表面と豊かな縁取り装飾が特徴です。天板は家具のわずかに曲線を描くフォルムに沿っており、時代の優雅さを引き立てます。

サイドはともに薄貼りとモールディングで飾られ、額縁にはネオクラシック趣味を想起させる装飾モチーフが配されています。

Pair of Neoclassical Bedside Tables / Side Tables with Marquetry – 19th Century

Elegant matching pair of antique bedside tables or side tables, dating from the 19th century, characterised by refined Neoclassical design with Louis XVI influences.

The two pieces feature a rectangular structure supported by four tall, slender and tapered legs, enriched at the upper sections with refined gilt-metal decorative mounts. The legs terminate in small metal feet, giving the furniture an elegant and sophisticated appearance.

The front of each table features a large drawer, beautifully decorated with fine wood veneer and an elegant symmetrical motif of scrolls, ribbons and stylised foliate elements. The centre of each drawer is fitted with an ornamental metal handle.

The wooden tops are particularly attractive, featuring a warm reddish-brown surface and an elaborate decorative border. The tops follow the slightly shaped profile of the furniture and enhance its refined period character.

The sides are also decorated with fine wood veneer and mouldings, while the surrounding frames feature ornamental details characteristic of the Neoclassical taste.
