ドミニカン・Green amberは、珍しく透明感のある着色を示す琥珀の一種です。サンティアゴ近郊の山々にある琥珀鉱山で最も一般的です。希少性ゆえあまり知られていませんが、Dominican amberの発見以来存在しています。(ambar dominicano)
人工光の下では通常の琥珀と同じに見えますが、日光の下では強い蛍光ブルーに発色します。太陽にかざすと通常の琥珀のように見え、紫外線の下では brilliant milky blue の色を放ちます。推定年齢は2500万～4400万年前です。水のように澄んで完全に透明、コレクション用の唯一無二の逸品で、Catawikiで出品されたことのない高品質の作品です。
