京都の磁器作家による際立つ20世紀の著名陶芸家の作品、丸みを帯びた胴体に、肩口から流れ落ちる菊を思わせる大胆な釉薬模様が、温かいベージュの地に濃い質感の縞模様として描かれています。
【作家プロフィール】
新開寛山（新開寛山, 1912–2011）は京都出身の陶芸作家で、祇園由来の清水六兵衛一門の継承者として育ちました。主に日展を通じて活動し、象嵌（ジオーガン）と鏤刻（くぎ彫り）技法を大胆な画趣的釉薬と組み合わせた独自の作風を築き、1974年に日展科長賞、1980年に日本美術院賞を受賞しました。寛山は2011年に他界したため、彼の作品は現在製作されていません。これは有限の作業集合です。
【状態】
非常に良好。丁寧に保管され、経年の小さな痕は見られます。元箱（共箱）と署名入り木箱付き。
Dimensions: 高さ約27cm、胴部最も幅のあるところ約17cm。正確な形状と比率は写真をご確認ください。
