八角形の首を持つ双胴花瓶。乳白色の地。多彩色の装飾は、下部胴に枝にとまるカワセミが精密に描かれており、上部胴には竹の枝が描かれています。首部には緑と赤の縦縞が施されています。元箱と布が付属します。

Kageyama Akishi 影山明志（1950年–）

静岡県生まれ。東京芸術大学美術学部卒業（1975）、同大学窯業専攻の修士号（1977）を取得。藤本義道に師事。1984年、茨城県石岡市に窯を構える。日本工芸会の正会員、茨城工芸会の会員。茨城県陶芸美術館で作品を発表。三越日本橋、阪急大阪、岡山、東京・パレスホテルでの個展、など。茨城工芸会80周年記念賞（2009）と茨城新聞120周年記念賞（2011）受賞。

Double-gourd vase with octogonal neck. Milk-white ground. The polychrome decoration depicts a kingfisher perched on a branch, rendered with fine detail, on the lower lobe; a bamboo branch occupies the upper lobe. The neck is decorated with vertical green and red stripes. Accompanied by its original box and cloth.

Kageyama Akishi 影山明志（1950–）

Born in Shizuoka Prefecture. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts (1975), then completed a Master’s degree in ceramics at the same university (1977). Trained under Fujimoto Yoshimichi. Established his kiln in Ishioka, Ibaraki Prefecture in 1984. Full member of the Japan Kogei Association and member of the Ibaraki Kogei Association. Works exhibited at the Ibaraki Ceramic Art Museum. Solo exhibitions at Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi, Takashimaya Osaka and Okayama, and Palace Hotel Tokyo. Recipient of the Ibaraki Kogei Association 80th Anniversary Award (2009) and the Ibaraki Shimbun 120th Anniversary Award (2011).
