オークションにて、1967年式の素晴らしいフォード・マスタング289クーペを出品します。アメリカの象徴とも言える個体が、歴史とオリジナリティによってさらに特別な存在となっています。
車両は1967年時点のローマのオリジナルナンバープレートを保持しており、極めて珍しいディテールです。当時は米国直輸入を許される人が非常に少なかったためです。前オーナーである有名コレクターの話によれば、当車はローマ在任中の在任米大使夫妻のうちの奥様が ownership していたとされます。
マスタングは約7万マイルのオリジナル走行距離を記録しており、特に保存状態の良さが際立っています：
- ボディとシャーシはおそらく年を経て再塗装されているものの、塗装状態と下回りは極めて良好で錆なし
- アクチアス（鋼材）とクロームは健全でよく保たれています
- 内装は完全にオリジナルで、状態は見事に保たれています
- オリジナルのビニールルーフも完璧な状態
