この封筒は、1944年4月にシャティヨンの郵趣協会によって、セーヌ地域の市長が1944年1月22日にヴィシーでペタン大元帥によって歓迎されたことを記念して発行されました。
この封筒自体は、各市長が以前に受け取った封筒の複製が添えられており、ペタン大元帥の署名と、彼の肖像が描かれた主なフランス切手で料金が支払われています。
この封筒は番号入りでN°0510、2枚の切手と専用の特別な消印が付されています。

Enveloppe émise en Avril 1944 lors de l'Exposition Philatélique de Chatillon/s Bagneux en souvenir de la réception des Maires de la région de la Seine à Vichy le 22 Janvier précédent par le Maréchal Pétain.
Cette enveloppe est elle-même illustrée avec celle reçue par chaque Maire signée par le Maréchal et affranchie avec les principaux timbres émis à son effigie.
Enveloppe numérotée N°0510 , avec affranchissement et  oblitération spécifique.


This cover was issued on April 1944 by the Chatillon's philatelic association to celebrate the Seine region's Mayors welcomed by the Maréchal Pétain at Vichy on Jan 22 nd 1944.
This cover was illustrated with the facsimilé of the one previously received by each Mayor stamped with most of the French stamps dedicated to Pétain and the Maréchal signature .
This  cover is numbered N° 0510 with 2 stamps and a dedicated special cancellation .
