Sir James Frederick Palmer (1804-1871) は画家 Sir Joshua Reynolds の大甥にあたり、ロンドンの外科医で1839年にオーストラリアへ渡り、メルボルンの初代市長を務め、後に下院議長を務めた。John Hunter (1728-1793) は St George's and St James's Dispensary の上級外科医、ロンドン王立医術学会のフェロー。本文巻には発行年が異なる版がいくつかあり、1835年を標記するもの、1835年と1837年が同一巻に混在するもの、またこのセットのように全て1837年を標記するものなどがある。『Plate volume』は常に1837年日付。

Vol 1-4: 半皮装、線引きのある Marbleized 表紙、金箔の背表紙、棚の摩耗、軽微な褪色と斑点、John Hunter の前扉写真の肖像画。1点のタイトルラベルが欠落。

KF Russell に対して Sir William George Dismore Upjohn (1888-1979)、名高いオーストラリアの外科医、Royal Australasian College of Surgeons の創設会員 が署名とともに寄贈した。本文巻が Sir Harry Brookes Allen (1854-1926)、メルボルン大学医学部長・病理学教授 の図書館出由とある旨の注書を伴う。参考：Russell 448。図書札：Ex Libris Anatomica KF Russell (215x132mm)。

Vol 5 Plates: 緑布装、薄い汚れ、棚の摩耗・褪色、見返しの端部の亀裂、追加の表紙と Plate Index ページが不揃い、非常に小さな切れと拡張図版の折り畳み。
前扉絵は Flaxman 作、本文巻には折り畳み式の写本版があり、 atlas には前14葉、Joshua Reynolds の前扉肖像、60 点の版画が収録され、特に稀版 52「Two specimens of Siren, or Mud Iguana from South Carolina」が含まれる。全巻完結。

Belonged to Sir James Frank Colyer (1866-1954)、歯科外科医、Hunterian Museum の理事、Royal College of Surgeons の Odontological Museum の館長。図書札：Ex Libris Anatomica KF Russell (290x225mm)
