中国新石器時代の三脚陶器容器 – 長紗文化 – 紀元前約2500年〜2000年頃
本器は丸みを帯びた胴を三つの独特な中空の袋状脚で支えるデザインです。外部には押印模様と刻線模様が広く施されており、厚く盛り上がった縁と強く造形された三脚形状が、本品に先史時代ならではの特徴的な風合いを与えています。
この種の三脚容器は、古代の人々が火の上で水を温めたり食物を準備したりするために使用していました。特に興味深いのは、器の下部に見られる燃焼跡と火の露出の痕跡で、数千年前に調理器として使われていた証拠です。これらの痕跡は、先史時代の中国の日常生活と直接結びつく tangible な手掛かりを提供し、約5,000年前に暮らしていた人々の文化と生活様式を想像し、理解する手助けをしてくれます。
