A decorative wall sconce with a sculptural fan-shaped body made of carved wood and applied brass. The alternating wood and brass ribs create a strong vertical rhythm, while the carved lower finial adds an architectural character associated with European decorative interiors of the mid-20th century.

The design combines Neoclassical influence with streamlined mid-century decorative styling. The use of radiating fluting, warm-toned wood and individually applied brass sections gives the piece a distinctive sculptural quality and makes it suitable both as functional wall lighting and as a decorative architectural accent.

The wood and brass retain an aged surface and patina consistent with period use. The lamp is shown illuminated in the photographs. The wooden and brass body appears to belong to the original decorative structure, while the electrical socket, wiring and related fittings appear to have been installed at a later date.
