** デザインはおおよそ1936年頃に渡辺版元から初刊行され、この版は戦前期に遡るもので、右余白にある渡邊庄三郎の版権カートouche（Dシール）で識別されます。戦前の水久保の版は抑制的で、ほぼグレースケールに近く、富士と空は柔らかな色調で描かれています。戦後の版（1946年以降）は代わりに小さな円形の渡辺シールを用い、紫系・ラベンダー系の色彩が著しく強く印刷されています。**

高橋松亭は渡辺庄三郎が1907年に最初に招いた作家で、新版画運動の他のどの作家よりも多く渡辺の版を手掛けました。1923年の関東大震災で渡辺の工房が壊滅し、松亭の初期デザインの約五百点分の版も失われました。その後の年月で再建を果たし、1930年代には富士を題材とする大型の風景画をいくつか制作し、彼の代表作のひとつとして知られています。
水久保はそのグループに属します。松亭は特に黄昏、夜景、天候をテーマにする画家として知られ、これはその種の中でも最も静かな一場面です。富士が最後の光または最初の光をとらえ、下の村は影の中にあり、窓だけがかすかに灯っています。同じデザインの版はボストン美術館に所蔵され、シカゴ美術館にも別の版があります。

I've been collecting Japanese woodblock prints for quite a while now — everything from classic ukiyo-e to shin-hanga and sōsaku-hanga. What started as a personal passion eventually turned into something more, and these days I source prints from auctions, galleries, and private collections across Japan and Europe.
With growing worldwide interest in Japanese woodblock prints, gallery prices have been climbing steadily. My goal is simple: offer high-quality, authentic prints at reasonable prices. I'm picky about what I sell — I look for pieces that have been stored properly, kept flat, and are free from serious foxing, stains, or damage.
I'm based in Germany, which means EU buyers won't deal with any import duties or taxes. For US buyers, original artworks under HS code 9702 are duty-free as well. And wherever you are, I pack everything carefully with multiple layers of protection so your print arrives safely.
