Two Yalis, protective deities from Tamil Nadu in South India, carved in ironwood with original natural-colour paint, dating to the 18th–19th century, each roughly 55 cm high, 30 cm wide and 9 cm deep, with provenance from a private collection and in reasonably good condition.
