Vintage Wooden Multi-Compartment Work Box / Tool Box with Folding Accordion Opening

A charming and unusual vintage wooden work box, featuring a sophisticated multi-level articulated construction that opens sideways in a characteristic accordion-style configuration.

The box is made of natural honey-coloured wood, with attractive visible grain and carefully constructed compartments. The different sections are connected by metal articulated support arms, allowing the various levels to open simultaneously. A sturdy central wooden carrying handle makes the box easy to transport when closed.

When opened, the box reveals several separate storage compartments, making it suitable for sewing accessories, small tools, craft materials, workshop items, hardware, or collectible objects.
