静かに力強い石器風の日本酒徳利（徳利）で、落ち着いた灰褐色の表面には自然の灰が沈着して一方に暖かなオレンジ赤の閃光が広がる。張りのある首とふっくらと丸みを帯びた胴は、現代の薪窯焼成石器の地に足の着いた彫塑的存在感を与える。
高さ：14.0cm / 胴径：9.4cm。

三原研（三原研、1958年生、島根県）は1981年に陶芸家舟木憲治のもとで修行を開始。茶道具の形展（茶道具形展）、朝日陶芸展、日本現代陶芸展など数多くの主要展覧会に選出され、東京・日本橋三越や大阪・難波高島屋などで個展を開催してきた。作品は東京・高木盆栽美術館などの公的収蔵庫に収蔵されている。本作には原箱（署名入り木箱）と作家自身の経歴書（履歴書）が付属し、写真付きで紹介されている。
