昭和後期の「初音」(Hatsune)意匠の、日本の漆器アクセサリーケース。未使用、上品で美しい佇まい。
蓋は滑らかに開閉し、内張りは柔らかい青色ベルベット風の生地を施してあり、宝石類・小物・その他大切な品の収納に最適です。
蓋の上に描かれた「初音」モチーフは、岩の間を流れる庭の小川、松、梅、楓を組み合わせたデザインで、日本の漆器で最も称えられる意匠のひとつです。
この名は17世紀に徳川家康の祖父・徳川家継の娘である千代姫が尾張徳川家に嫁いだ際に作られた豪華な漆器の一式「初音の調度」から取られています。これらの漆器は現在、国宝に指定されています。
デザイン名と imagery は源氏物語の「初音」巻に由来し、引用された詩は親子の深い情愛を謳いあげるものであり、心温まる思い出の品として親しまれるデザインです。
この「初音」デザインは現在も福島県会津地方の漆器工房によって生産されており、日本を代表する漆器産地のひとつです。今回の品は、その伝統を美しく保ちつつ未使用のヴィンテージ品としての魅力を持つ、素敵な例です。
