ディアナ／アルテミスの装飾用ブロンズ頭部，古代を模して現代のレプリカとして作られた作品。女神が理想化された、古典的な面立ちを持つ若い女性として、入念にデザインされた髪型とともに描かれている。
顔は穏やかで均整のとれた造形で、鼻は真っすぐ、口は閉じられたまま、大きくはっきりと整えられた瞳を持つ。特に髪の表現は丹念で、力強く彫塑的なウェーブが顔から後ろへと導かれ、そこに明確に目立つ髪の結い上げが集約されている。
額の上には半月形のティアラがそびえ、ディアナ／アルテミスとしての表現を特徴づけている。半月はローマ期のアイコンインにおいてディアナの特徴的な属性であり、月と夜の領域との結びつきを示している。
頭部は長めの首へとつながり、下部は意図的に不規則な断崖面で終わるため、古代彫像や頭部の残 fragment の印象を生み出している。濃い茶色がかった緑がかった錆色のパチネーションがこの考古学的な性格を強調している。
ウェーブした髪の毛束、後方の結び目、ティアラの彫塑表現は、側面および背面から見ても頭部を装飾的に美しくしている。
