ヴィンテージの手動ドリル（チニョーレ、メナローラ…）は、1900年代半ばの実用工具です。赤色の大きな歯車、木製の柄のノブ、そして特徴的な下部の曲がった腰掛けを基準に、ドイツの有名ブランドMetaboのものと推定できます。
螺旋状の先端は自動締付チャックに挿入され、作業者は曲線状の板を胸部または腹部に当てて力を加え、所望の穴を作るために横方向の柄を手で回します（通称「胸部用ドリル」）。

Trapano a mano vintage, (chignole, menarola..) strumento di lavoro di meta' secolo '900. In base alle caratteristiche estetiche come la grande ruota dentata di color rosso, la manovella con il pomello in legno ed il caratteristico poggiapetto inferiore sagomato curvo, possiamo attribuirlo al famoso marchio tedesco Metabo.
La punta elicoidale viene inserita nel mandrino autoserrante, l'utilizzatore poggia la piastra curva contro il proprio petto o pancia (spesso denominato appunto "Trapano a Petto") per applicare la forza necessaria a produrre il foro desiderato, girando manualmente la manovella laterale.
