About the painting:

“Between Sea and Sky (II)” explores the quiet, expansive space where water meets horizon and sky. Through a deliberately minimalist composition, the painting reduces the landscape to its most essential elements: an open, luminous sky and a band of deep, expressive blue.

Balancing simplicity with painterly gesture, the work invites the viewer to pause between two vast elements - to experience the calm of the horizon while sensing the energy held beneath its surface. This artwork is ultimately an exploration of space, silence, and the expressive power of reduction.

About the artist:

Andreea Zecheru is a known abstract artist based in Hamburg, Germany. Many of her works are held in private and institutional collections across Europe and the US.

“Creating art is for me connecting to my inner world by bringing onto canvas emotions and linking them to color and composition. My creative process is inspired by the complexities that surround us.
