チェコ芸術ガラスの具象彫刻「ペンギン」— ミッドセンチュリーモダン様式（1960年代）
優雅で洗練されたペンギンを象った具象彫刻で、チェコスロヴァキアの称賛される現代美術デザインの真の名品（ブリュセル様式）を circa 1960 年頃。作品は細長く有機的な胴体と、熱成形の卓越した技術による巧みさを特徴とし、光源直射下で美しい屈折効果を生み出す見事な色彩対比を示す。背面と翼は深い黒灰色の不透明ガラス、腹は純白で濁りのない乳白色のガラス、基台は黄みがかった蜂蜜色の半透明で、直射光の下で優れた屈折効果を生み出す。
