2½セント硬貨で、表面には女王 Guillermina のモノグラムと名前がアラビア文字（ジャウィ）で刻まれ、周囲にはマレー語の銘文と細かな珠状円が施されている。裏面にはオランダ王国の冠付き紋章が、日付に挟まれて配置され、額面と植民地名が外周銘文に分布している。標本は元の濃い赤色を強く保ち、RD指定の特徴を示す高い輝き、鋭い浮き彫り、非常に清潔な盤面を備え、MS63 RDの格付けにふさわしいわずかな接触痕のみを示す。第二次世界大戦末期にオランダ領東インド向けに発行されたこの硬貨は、インドネシア独立前の深い政治的転換期に属する。
