Here for sale is an exceptionally rare and beautiful 20th century Asante stool carved from Sese wood by the people of the Asante tribe in Ghana.

The stool has a beautiful smooth finish and patina on the surface due to a long time of reapeated use. The condition of the stool is good for its age with age related cracks cuased by the Sese wood being wood from a rubber tree. The stool is strong and can be used as a seat or a piece of historical decorative furniture. The stool was purchased in Ghana in 2002.

The dimensions are: H: 21 CM, W: 45 CM, D: 18 CM.

This is an extremely rare and beautiful piece and a must have.
