エジプトが国連の後援の下、1994年にカイロで開催された国際人口開発会議（ICPD）を記念して発行した、5ポンドの銀製記念コイン。
表面には、装飾豊かなアラビア書道の構成があり、装飾的なメダリオンとイスラム暦とグレゴリオ暦の日期が添えられ、現代エジプト美術の造幣伝統に従う。
裏面には公式ロゴ「ICPD Cairo 94」が、アラビア語銘文の冠に囲まれている。
この標本は元の輝きをかなり保ち、浮き彫りはくっきり、地は魅力的で、MS63程度に見られる軽い接触痕を示している。
この発行は、1990年代にエジプトで開催された国際的に重要な出来事の興味深い証言となる。
