1998 東京藝術大学窯業科卒業。
2000 同大学院修士課程修了。
2008 神奈川県川崎市に窯を築く（石油窯）。

Artistic Concept
作家の作品は、日本伝統の陶芸技法と素材の探究から始まり、それを現代的な作風で表現する。
多種多様な鉱物素材のブレンドと高温焼成を徹底的に研究して生み出された独自の釉薬は、彼の作品の特徴である極めて鮮やかな色を生み出す。
創作テーマの核は、日常の豊かさを十分に味わい、喜びを持って生きるという考え方。
日本の陶芸伝統、世界の美術、ポップアートを独自の融合として再構築・再定義することを目指す。
署名には「Haluya」（手書き）と「HAL」（ステンシルまたは刻印で付す）の二つを用いる。
