Martin BOLLÉ (1912-1968)

Martin Bolléは、ベルギー生まれの画家。1912年8月8日にVilvorde（ベルギー）で生まれ、1968年8月25日にSchaerbeek（ブリュッセル）で没しました。

Biographie

ピエロ、ダンサー、花、風俗画、室内、静物画、都市風景を描く画家として、Martin Bolléは庶民の世界にインスピレーションを見出します。筆致は幅広くしなやかです。Constant Pellegrin（nl）とJ. Brouwersの弟子としてVilvordeで、またSchaerbeekのSaint-Lucとアントウェルペンのアカデミーで学びました。ゴデシャルル賞（1933年・1935年）。その後、オランダとフランスへの研修旅行を行い、オランダでVermeerの偽造者Han Van Meegerenと出会います。彼はJoris De Bruyne（1896-1965）の友人でした。
