Ronald Hunter - Family portrait - blue camel 4p

Size: A2 (42 × 59.4 cm)
Medium: Acrylic on Paper

Mixed media on paper

Family Portrait – blue blue 4p. explores togetherness through abstract, almost totem-like figures. The repeated forms suggest individual identities, while their shared rhythm and palette create a sense of unity. Soft pinks and deep reds interact with subtle textures, giving the work a lived-in, human quality rather than a polished one. It reads as a family not through likeness, but through presence: different shapes, standing close, connected by space, balance, and quiet tension.

Painted entirely by hand with acrylic on thick paper, this work combines graphic clarity with a playful, almost musical composition.
