ベルギーの名門 Val Saint Lambert が誇る、2点セットの魅力的なアンティーククリスタルのケーキプレート（台座付きケーキスタンド）です。
これらのプレートは象徴的な「Service Hambourg」の一部であり、芸術監督レオン・レドルの指揮の下、若きチャールズ・グラファールトの協力を得て設計されました。1913年のVal Saint Lambert カタログの有名な planche 14 に豊富に記録されており、添付のカタログ画像を参照ください。
デザインは透明のプレスガラス（半結晶）で作られており、洗練された幾何学的なダイヤモンド模様（pointes de diamant）が同心円状に広がるのが特徴です。 波打つ外縁はガラスの真珠を彷彿とさせる特徴的な仕上がりで美しく縁取られています。プレートは彫刻状の細い縦溝入りの脚の上に静かに乗っています。
直径の異なるサイズのおかげで、プレートを重ねて完璧にスタックさせ、パーティーのテーブルを飾る息を呑むようなアールデコ風のエタージュ/センターピースとなります。
時期：1913年（初期アールデコ / 後期アールヌーボー）
