Artist profile: Luc Best

Luc Best - an extraordinary artist who sets new standards with his innovative mixed media art and the use of artificial intelligence, modern graphics programs and classic craftsmanship. Luc transforms his passion for art and design into impressive works that combine both nostalgic and contemporary elements, immersing the viewer in a fascinating visual cosmos.

With a solid education in graphic design and over 30 years of experience as a cameraman for renowned broadcasters, Luc Best has developed a unique eye for aesthetics and composition. His profound love of film history is reflected in his work, in which he focuses on classic cars, comic book heroes and Hollywood stars of the 50s, 60s and 70s. In the high-end classic car scene and among pop art lovers, the strictly limited works now have cult status. Luc is a master at combining modern techniques with classic motifs - his works are a tribute to times gone by and at the same time a glimpse into the future of art.

Over the past 15 years, Luc Best has not only honed his skills as an artist, but has also gained an international foothold. Luc Best is represented in various private and public collections worldwide in more than 45 countries and exhibitions in Berlin, Hamburg, London, Bordeaux, Cape Town and many more.
A fascination with the symbiosis of tradition and modernity is at the heart of Luc's artistic work. His paintings, collages and mixed-media objects are not only visual masterpieces, but also often thought-provoking stories. Every viewer is invited to immerse themselves in the world of nostalgia and at the same time be inspired by the innovative technique used by Luc Best.
