2脚のうち1脚には、背もたれの後部に小さな欠陥があり、写真で明確に確認できる。古い補修の痕跡（接着剤の残留・背板の小さな不具合を含む）が見られる。欠陥は隠さず、対象物の現状を正確に記録するためにそのまま残されている。

木製アンティーク家具全般と同様、家庭環境に設置する前に予防的な防虫処理をお勧めします。

Pair of Fischel Bentwood Chairs – Art Nouveau – Early 20th Century

Elegant pair of antique bentwood chairs, attributable to Fischel, an important historical European manufacturer renowned for its bentwood furniture.

The chairs feature a characteristic construction associated with Central European furniture production from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. An original manufacturer’s label is preserved underneath the seat, providing an important element for attribution.

The elegant bentwood structure features slender curved legs, circular lower supports and beautifully shaped backrests.

The seats and backrests are particularly distinctive, decorated with floral and foliate motifs, including symmetrical scrolls, leaves and flowers. These decorative details give the pair a highly ornamental appearance compared with more common bentwood café chairs.

The chairs retain a beautiful aged original patina, with variations in colour, surface wear and marks consistent with their age and previous use.

Condition

Antique/vintage condition with visible age-related wear, as clearly shown in the photographs.

There are surface scratches, abrasions, variations in the finish and areas where the original surface has become more worn. Small holes and traces consistent with historical woodworm activity are also visible, particularly on the lower wooden components and underside areas.

One of the two chairs has a small defect on the rear of the backrest, clearly visible in the photographs. There are traces of an old repair, including some remaining adhesive and a small imperfection in the rear wooden panel. The defect has been left visible and has not been concealed, in order to accurately document the actual condition of the item.

As with any antique wooden furniture, preventive woodworm treatment is recommended before placing the chairs in a domestic environment.
