MATSUDA by Mitsuhiro Matsuda – an original vintage fashion catalogue / lookbook associated with the influential Japanese fashion designer Mitsuhiro Matsuda (1934–2008).

Mitsuhiro Matsuda was an important figure in Japanese fashion during the second half of the 20th century. His work combined traditional tailoring with a distinctive Japanese aesthetic and an experimental approach to form and presentation. Original Matsuda fashion publications from the 1980s and 1990s are now sought after by collectors of vintage fashion, photography and Japanese design.

This example is an original period publication produced in connection with the Matsuda fashion house. Publications of this type were produced in relatively limited quantities and were not intended as conventional mass-market books.
