トーゴとガーナの間のアダ／アダン文化圏に属するとされる、小さく表現力豊かな木製祠像。
このタイプの像は一般にアクラマ伝統とエウェ＝アーダンベ／アダ文化圏の家庭内または祠の文脈と関連付けられる。本作は意図的に素朴で、非常に幾何学的な構成と強いほぼキュビスム的特徴を持つ。
像は二本の長い脚の上に立ち、凝縮した体と鋭く面取りされた頭部を有する。顔は本質的な特徴だけに簡略化されている：三角形の穴眼、突き出た小さな鼻、控えめな口。彫刻の素朴さが作品に静かながらも強い存在感を与える。
表面には暖かな金髪〜茶色の patina が見られ、所々にざらつきや暗い痕、特に顔や首の周辺には淡い沈着がある。その魅力は、形の清浄さ、素朴な彫刻の力強さ、洗練されたグラフィック性にある。
モダンだが非常に魅力的なアダ／アダン型像で、抽象的な存在感、キュビスム風の顔つき、 agingした表面の魅力で高く評価される。
状態
全体的に良好。
使用や経年に伴う損耗、磨耗、表面の痕、わずかな不均一、淡い沈着が認められる。

For more than 30 years, I have collected African art with a focus on authenticity, symbolism, and refined craftsmanship.
Graduated as an engineer from École Centrale de Paris, I combine the rigor of my technical background with a lifelong passion for artistic expression and cultural heritage.
Founder of AS’ART (dedicated to contemporary handmade design) and Artifacts Gallery (devoted to ancient tribal art and ethnographic objects), I bring together two worlds: the vitality of today’s artisans and the timeless heritage of Africa’s past.
