フィギュア - 黄楊木 / ツゲ - China - Qing Dynasty (1644-1911)

伝統衣装を身に着けた2人の子供を描く、中国産の黄楊木（ボックスウッド）彫刻像のペア。片方は桃を、もう片方は魚を持つ。
Both figures are mounted on dark wooden bases bearing incised Japanese marks. The bases may have been added later in Japan, or the figures may have been made for the Japanese market.
両像はいずれも彫刻が施された暗色系の木製台座に載せられており、日本語の銘が刻まれている。台座は後から日本で付けられた可能性がある、あるいは像自体が日本市場向けに作られた可能性もある。
Dating to the late 19th / early 20th century.
19世紀後半から20世紀初頭のもの。

Condition:
Excellent overall condition, with only minor age-related wear.
状態: 全体的に優良、経年によるわずかな擦れ程度。
