New Kingdom Open Work Wedjat Eye Plaque, an Ancient Egyptian faience amulet dating to 1550–1070 BC, is an original official object measuring 34 mm high by 30 mm wide, acquired in 2009 from a private collection in the United Kingdom.

Provenance:
Collection passed on to me by mother (P.M.Shaw) in 2009
Given to her by
J.G.Judd who acquired the piece part of a strand of many depictions and amulets from Cairo dealer 18-06-1975. - with copy of original invoice available.
International Signed and Tracked.
Open Work Wedjat 'Eye of Horus ' Plaque amulet with detail highlighted in black and yellow glaze.
Microscopic images have been added to display pigmentation and integrity of the core faience.
