Large thick Edo period tsuba for katana made of iron with polished bronze heart shaped decorations, strong heavy piece. These types were usualy made for heavy large katanas and for cutting tests to enhance the blow.
It comes with apraisal paper.

thickness is 6mm and 7mm with the raised rim
