Vintage floor lamp in Liberty style – turned wood, brass and fringed fabric shade

Elegant vintage floor lamp with a strong decorative presence, featuring a sophisticated combination of turned wood, golden-tone metal and a large original fabric lampshade with long decorative fringes.

The lamp has a slender structure with a central brass-tone metal column, enriched by beautifully turned wooden elements featuring an attractive spiral/barley-twist design. The upper section houses a distinctive three-light arrangement, with each light socket integrated into a decorative turned wooden element. The structure is completed by elegant metal side arms with curved ornamental scrolls.

The large original fabric lampshade is one of the most distinctive features of the piece. It has a rounded, domed form, beige/golden fabric, decorative trimming and an abundant fringe border. Its appearance recalls elegant interiors from the first half of the 20th century, with influences from Liberty, Art Nouveau and decorative vintage design.

The circular wooden base is richly shaped and turned, with a decorative metal element at its centre. The lower column continues the spiral motif found in the upper structure, giving the lamp a coherent and highly decorative appearance.
