引き出しタンス - Wood, Brass, Walnut, Burr walnut

Elegant antique Italian chest of drawers, dating from the 20th century, in a refined Neoclassical / Restoration style.

The piece features a rectangular moulded top above one top smaller drawer and three large drawers, each decorated with beautifully figured walnut veneer and burr-walnut panels, framed by darker walnut mouldings. The drawers retain their original-style escutcheons and decorative brass/bronze drop handles with tassel-shaped fittings.

The sides are panelled and richly moulded, while the lower section is characterised by a stepped plinth and shaped bracket feet, giving the chest a substantial yet elegant appearance. The strongly figured walnut displays attractive natural grain and colour variation throughout.

The condition is very good for its age, despite of some minimal scratches, some wood chips, and some minimal defects of age and use. Please take a well look at the photos included.
The patina is super splendid.
It was well-made with great craftsmanship.


It is a very refined and of excellent construction that gives the piece of furniture a noble and affected appearance.
