About the Artwork:

“Weightless Atmosphere III (Sage Green)” is a quietly expressive abstract painting by Paul Polterauer, set within a deep green field that shifts from muted olive tones towards darker, cooler shades below. Two pale green gestures appear to drift through this open space, suggesting movement held in suspension.
The larger form unfurls across the upper half in a flowing, gently bending line, while a smaller curved stroke sits lower to the right. Creamy green highlights and dark underlying accents emphasise the ridges of the paint, creating a tactile contrast with the smooth background. The generous distance between the forms gives their subtle movements room to breathe.

Presented in a 60 × 80 cm portrait format, the painting offers a calm, grounded focal point for a contemporary interior. Its natural palette invites associations with leaves, air and slow-moving currents, while the sparse composition leaves these impressions open to the viewer’s own interpretation."

The artwork is delivered stretched on a sturdy canvas frame and can be hung directly on the wall, however no decorative frame is included.

About the Artist:

"The Austrian painter Paul is a passionate artist since childhood. He formally graduated in art and art history before a successful fifteen-year career as a business and technology executive and pioneering startup founder. Returning to his core passion, for which he won painting competitions at a young age, Paul now dedicates himself full-time to creating artwork, utilizing distinct, hand-carved tools to generate intense, physical, and deeply emotional paintings and structures on canvas. In doing so, he bridges his innovative, structured background with authentic creative expression."
