An antique Austrian sterling silver circular box (4.5 cm diameter, 39 g) with a guilloché enamel lid hand-painted with pink and yellow roses over an engine-turned ground, gilded interior, stamped 925 with the Vienna assay hallmark on base and inner lid rim, in good condition with natural patina and and an old professional repair to the lid enamel; hinge works.
