925‑silver ring housing natural moldavites from the Czech Republic with a Herkimer diamond, size adjustable, weight 3.75 g, and accompanied by an IMCA certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
authentic silver ring with genuine sterling silver (925/1000) and two natural moldavites from the Czech Republic, together with a HERKIMER diamond, adjustable size. Beautiful design and excellent quality. Includes jewelry case. Ideal as a gift.
Moldavites are minerals formed from the fusion of material due to the impact of a large meteorite on the Earth's surface. Moldavites are associated with the impact crater located at Nördlingen Ries (Germany), from which they were expelled to the surroundings of the Moldau River in the Czech Republic (hence the name) and have an formation age of 14.5 million years.
Moldavites are increasingly scarce; every piece is different, so each one is unique and unrepeatable. A safe value that increases in value every day.
A fantastic and exclusive jewel.
Moldavites belong to the tektite family (from Greek tektos, melted); they are natural glass objects formed by the impact of large meteorites on the Earth's surface. Tektites are among the driest minerals known, with an average water content of 0.005%, which suggests that tektites formed under very high temperatures and pressures (similar to those needed to form diamonds).
With IMCA authenticity certificate (International Meteorite Collectors Association)
Best regards and our warmest wishes.
