Men's 14K yellow gold cufflinks by Willi Neff of Pforzheim, Germany, circa 1970, total weight 9.9 g, in excellent vintage condition with no laboratory report, featuring a brutalist/modernist design and a master goldsmith mark N in an oval cartouche.

• 製造者 / 工房: Willi Neff(ドイツ/フュルツハイム)。「N」の頭文字が刻まれた楕円形の職人名入り公式サイン。
• 金の純度: 14金の純金、ドイツ規格の刻印「585」入りの無垢ゴールド。
• 正味重量: 9.9グラム(ペア)
• 時代 / スタイル: 70年代初頭 – モダニズム運動 / ブルータリスト
• デザインと製造: 世紀半ばのドイツ珠宝の前衛を示す優れた例。正面は自然鉱物の形成を連想させる複雑で組織的なテクスチャ―を炎で施した表面。裏面は格子状の幾何学的な透かし彫りで軽量化され、高忠実度の水平アームを備えた可動機構。
• 状態: ビンテージとしては Excellent。浮き彫りの浮き出しは良好で、裏機構は完璧に機能。

本品は、フランシスコ(フランク)・パヤ氏の私的コレクションから直接来たもので、同氏は高級品業界で著名な国際的幹部であり、GIA認定宝石学者(1983年)です。パヤ氏は60年代にパナマのMercurio宝石店のマネージャーを務め、70年代初頭にはドイツ・フュルツハイムの製造部門で本作の作者の工房でこのツインを入手した時期と同じ頃に活動していました。その後、ニューヨークの Fifth AvenueにあるH. Sternの上級役員、さらにはCarrera y Carreraの国際展開部門のディレクターとして活躍しました。
