Leblanc Clarnet professional Bb clarinet, made in France in 1955 from Grenadilla wood with nickel-plated keys, in good physical condition and not tested, includes hard case and mouthpiece.
Description from the seller
Original G. Leblanc Paris professional wooden Bb clarinet.
A prime example of mid-century French craftsmanship, manufactured in the late 1950s / early 1960s.
• Material: Premium genuine Grenadilla wood (natural blackwood). The wood is clean and structurally sound, with no cracks or previous pin repairs.
• Serial Number: 6-digit serial 133853 stamped on the joints.
• Keywork: Durable, bright nickel-plated keys (not silver). They retain a great reflective shine, resist tarnish, and are easy to maintain. All mechanisms move freely.
• Joints & Cork: The cork on the tenons is thick, fresh, and not worn out. The joints fit very tightly and securely (the instrument was intentionally not forced together completely to prevent wood tension; standard cork grease is recommended for assembly).
• Condition: Solid vintage condition. Pads and corks are old and will require a standard overhaul/repad before regular playing.
• Included: Original hardshell plush-lined case, vintage mouthpiece with ligature/cap, lyre, cleaning swab, and a set of new reeds.
