}の一部、Bison sp. のものです。

A well-preserved lower jaw (mandible) of an ancient bison, Bison sp., from the Ice Age (Pleistocene epoch).

Origin: Heilongjiang Province, Northeast China (Amur region). This specimen comes from the famous Mammoth fauna assemblage — the same Ice Age community as the woolly mammoth and woolly rhinoceros.

Specimen details:

Age: Pleistocene (Ice Age), tens of thousands of years old

Size: approx. 37 × 12 cm

Weight: approx. 800 g

Material: fully fossilized bone

Condition: Complete fossil mandible with several molars still in the jaw. The teeth show attractive blue-grey, dark and brown enamel with natural folded wear patterns. The bone has a natural pale-brown fossil patina. Sold as found — the jaw shows its original fossil condition, including natural wear and one partially missing tooth as visible in the photos; no restoration or repair. A clear display stand is included.

A genuine, legally collected Ice Age fossil — an eye-catching, display-ready piece for natural-history collectors and fossil enthusiasts. Photos show the exact specimen on offer (item no. 048).
