このシリーズは、自己葛藤を抱える個人、自己不信と恐怖に揺れる人物の寓話です。泳ぐという充実は手の届く距離にあるが、登場人物にとってそれは何マイルも遠く、ただ手の届かないものとして描かれます。
ロケで撮影。全カメラ内で完結。ポストプロダクションでの追加はなし。

最近、スウェーデン・ヴェストラ・イーサランド州政府 Public Art Department が offline ギャラリー版のシリーズをコレクションとして取得しました。
シリーズはNYC、東京、ロンドン、パリなどで展示されました。英国の TIMES、THE GUARDIAN をはじめ、 multitude の出版物にも掲載されました。

アーカイバル、顔料系ジクレー、リミテッドエディション、HAHNEMÜHLE 310GSM BARYTA SILK に 12 色 UltraChrome Pro12 インクで印刷。9回の TIPA World Awards のラボで印刷されました。

エレナ・パラスケヴァの作品は、機関・企業コレクションに所蔵されています。スウェーデンの Public Art Department（ヴェストラ・イーサランド州政府）をはじめ、米国ボストン病院（児童がんウィング正面の巨大な500cm の設置物）、Australian National University、Thalassa Museum、Affinity（Serif）など、その他多数。

彼女の作品は、ブリュッセルの EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT での展示をはじめ、NYC、パリ、東京、ロンドン、ドバイ、サンパウロ、ウィーン、バルセロナ、ミュンヘン、クアラルンプール、フィレンツェ、フランクフルト、マラガ、リンツ、グラーツ、シエナ などの主要ビエンナーレ・ギャラリーで発表されています。
2026年、マグナム・フォトグラファーの Alec Soth は、現代で最も影響力のある写真家の1人として広く認識されており、ギリシャ文化省の後援のもとギリシャでの展覧会に彼女の作品を個人的に選定しました。

2024/2023/2021/2018 の4つの異なる国際写真協会によって INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR に選出されています。

Hasselblad Masters、World Masters of Photography、LensCulture、Aesthetica、Prix de la Photographie Paris、IPA、Neutral Density Awards など、数多くの国際的な評価と主要賞を受賞しています。

2021年以降、FLORIDA MUSEUM OF PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTS の審査員として活動。Fotografiska Museum や 東京国立美術館 のキュレーターと並んで審査を行い、毎年複数の国際写真コンクールの審査員を務めています。元 Adobe インストラクター・アンバサダーでもあります。
