ローマ軍では、用途ごとに異なる種類の槍が使用されていました:
Hasta: 主に近接戦闘で使用される重い打撃槍。
Lancea/Iaculum: 軽量の投槍で、補助兵や騎兵によく使われました。
Pilum: 盾を貫通させて使えなくすることを目的とした、長くて細い鉄製の柄を持つ象徴的なローマの投槍。
画像の槍先は、形状と柄への移行の仕方から見て、Hasta または大きな Lancea に最も似ているように見えます。
オブジェクトの状態
黒みがかった茶色と粗い質感は、重度の酸化（錆）を示しており、長い間地中に埋まっていた鉄製の遺物に一般的に見られる特徴です。
