聖職者の頭像遺物箱（1） 木彫、漆塗り、彩色‑イタリア、18世紀
重要（86 cm）18世紀イタリア製の聖職者頭像遺物箱で、ミトラを冠し聖座の装具を身にまとった聖人司教を描く。
木彫・漆塗り・彩色で仕上げられており、特に装飾性の高い表現が特徴である。髭を生やした厳かな表情の顔は、色彩豊かな要素を模した宝玉や宝石を連想させる高い帽の上に載っている。マントには浮き彫りのアラベスク模様と植物模様の見事な装飾があり、金属色のトーンで縁取られ、緑のカボションで点在している。
胸部の中央には、円形の重要な遺物槽が刻み枠の中に設けられている。
