This beautiful fossil measures an impressive **3.5 cm in length**, displayed on a compact natural matrix measuring 5.5 × 5 cm.

*Mafangscolex sinensis* belongs to an ancient group of worm-like marine invertebrates known as palaeoscolecids, which were part of the extraordinary diversification of animal life during the Cambrian Explosion.
