フランス北部の Wiméreux（Pointe-aux-Oies）で知られる発見地点からの大型の旧石器時代のチョッピング・ツールで、すでに1967年に発見されました。
この発見地の打製石器は、現地で見つかった比較的大きなフリントの塊から作られています。
寸法 108 × 95 mm
これらは初期ホモ・エレクトスと関連付けられており、Wiméréux はこの産業の最北端の発見地である可能性が高いです。
この標本は時間の経過とともに削り面に美しい色彩の模様を得てきました。燧石塊の内側の実際の色は灰黒で、いくつかの小さな損傷箇所で確認できます。
