「Elizabeth II」金貨、ソブリン

Le sterline d’oro della Regina Elisabetta II sono caratterizzate da cinque diversi ritratti della Sovrana.
Il primo ritratto di Sua Maestà fu emesso nel 1953, in circolazione dal 1957 fino al 1968, con il nome di fiocco o fiocchetto di Mary Gillick e rappresentava un nuovo inizio dopo la Seconda Guerra Mondiale, annunciando una nuova era elisabettiana.

- Dritto: La testa nuda della regina rivolta a destra, con un nastro fiocco che annoda la corona di alloro nei capelli della sovrana.

- Rovescio: San Giorgio con un mantello che scende dall’elmo, a cavallo mentre uccide il drago con la spada. La data sotto la linea di esergo con le lettere piccole B.P. a destra.

- Bordo: Zigrinato.
