Description from the seller
SAMIA KERKENI — AZURE RIFT — 2026
Unique Original Artwork — Acrylic and Pouring Medium on Canvas — 50 × 50 cm
A golden fissure crosses a current of deep blue, while white opens into expansive fields of light. In Azure Rift, Samia Kerkeni creates a composition where the fluidity of water meets the visual strength of mineral formations.
The diagonal movement draws the eye from the lower left towards the upper right. Intense blues, azure shades and black accents surround the gold-toned passage. Along their boundaries, delicate cellular patterns, branching formations and veils of colour reveal the intricacy of the pouring technique.
From a distance, the painting conveys a clear sense of movement and a luminous presence. Closer viewing reveals a landscape of details: subtle contours, interacting colours and changing densities. White plays an active role, giving the coloured passages room to breathe.
Azure Rift may evoke a coastline seen from above, an ocean current or an opening in rock. Its abstract language allows each collector to discover a personal landscape within it.
